I hope they get better

I finally got to watch Bound for Glory last night, and I have to say I am a little embarrassed by how Montour Football looks. Now I have to give them a break, and hope they turn things around with all the help they are getting.

This is too much. My high school football team is going to be on a reality show on ESPN starting September 20th. Dick Butkus has signed on to be an assistant coach of the team, should be interesting.

Last night Val and I were catching up on some records show, and were watching "The Comeback" from HBO. It's the new Lisa Kudrow show on HBO, that's a semi-reality comedy. Not sure I actually like the show, there were several funny parts, but I think I will have to watch a few more episodes before I commit one way or the other.

But, the coolest thing, was in one of the scenes, one of the actors (not sure if he is a regular) was wearing a WDVE 102.5 Radio tee shirt. Ok, I know those that are not from Pittsburgh won't understand why I care, and either did my wife, but WDVE is this long standing rock station in Pittsburgh, that has been in existence something like 35 years, and still is just a core rock station. It's the station that I grew up on and has still one of the best morning shows there is, in my opinion. I think only Scott Paulson is still the original, but they come up we come of the best skits. Now, if your not from the 'burgh, you won't get the humor, I'm sorry, not much I can do about that.

So I am guessing this actor is actually from Pittsburgh, because I can't see any other reason he would be wearing the tee shirt, since I don't think DVE has made it to LA yet. So my wife already has learned this, for some reason, people from Pittsburgh, care that there are other people from Pittsburgh. She laughs every time I say ... "You know, that person is from Pittsburgh"
